Congratulations to Emily Ritzema and Conor Mallett who have both qualified to swim at the Jeux des Iles in Guadeloupe as part of the JASA team, which travels towards the end of May. It is a great achievement and I know that our swimmers have worked hard and are ready to go and give their best, and enjoy what will be a very unique trip in a truly exotic location. As a Club we can also be very proud that Keiron Bowbrick has accepted an invitation to travel with the Jersey team as Head Coach. Keiron has built up many years experience and respect in local swimming and this is I am sure reflected in this appointment. So to Emily, Conor and Keiron and indeed the entire JASA team who will be travelling we wish you every success for the trip to Guadeloupe.

It was another great weekend for JSC swimmers at the 36th Jersey Island Championships at Les Quennevais. Our Junior boys were in excellent form. The section was dominated by Jeux des Ile bound Conor Mallett who won five of the six trophies available. Conor was victorious in the 100 backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle, and the 200 & 400 IM events.
